1-View is sold per user account. A user account consists of one user and up to 3 i-mate™ devices and 3 Windows-based PCs.

Software and System Requirements • What are 1-View’s PC system requirements? The system required for 1-View is a Windows XP home machine or more recent. • What are 1-View’s mobile requirements? 1-View works with any i-mate™ Windows Mobile™ 2003 or Windows Mobile™ 5.0 Pocket PC device. • Does 1-view work with my Apple Macintosh computer? No, 1-View is not available for Apple Macintosh computers. • How do I install 1-View software? Connect your i-mate device to your PC and run the 1-View setup program. • Does 1-View install any ‘spy-ware’, ‘ad-ware’, or third party software onto my computer? No, 1-View does not install any ‘spy-ware’, ‘ad-ware’, or third party software onto any computer. Furthermore, all files and data transmitted and received by 1-View is sent using 128-bit SSL encryption across the HTTPS protocol - the standard used for secure online banking. Devices • How many devices can I use with 1-View? Each user account can register up to 3 PCs and 3 i-mate devices. A future version of 1-View will enable a virtually unlimited number of devices/PCs. • What devices can I use with 1-View? The following i-mate devices are compatible with 1-View: - i-mate PDA2 - i-mate PDA2k - i-mate JAM - i-mate JAM 128 (New) - i-mate JASJAR (New) - i-mate K-JAM (New) - i-mate smart phone devices will be available soon. 1-View will only run on i-mate devices. Files • How does 1-View transfer my files? A file that is requested is first uploaded and stored centrally on the i-mate Vault where only your computers and i-mate devices can access it. From the Vault the file can be downloaded to any combination of registered devices and PCs. • Are my files modified during transfer? 1-View does not in any way modify your files. The files you transfer are an identical copy of the original. • Does 1-view scan files for viruses? No, 1-View does not scan your files. 1-View keeps the integrity of the file and files are not shared between users. This means your files are in the exact condition they were before they were transferred by 1-View. • Is 1-View a peer to peer network? No. 1-View distinguishes itself from a peer to peer network because files are being transferred only between multiple devices registered under the same user account. • Will my files be scanned for content? No, 1-View does not scan the content of your files’ —your privacy is never compromised. • How do I delete my files from the Vault? Simply select the file and click “Stored in the Vault (Click Here to Remove)” • Is there a size limit on a file transfer? Current operating system limitations impose a 2GB size limit to each file transfer. • Can I upload DRM files? Yes, you can upload your own DRM content to the 1-View Vault, and you can transfer DRM files to your other computers/devices. DRM files will keep their respective license agreement, rules, and restrictions. DRM files will play only on a device or computer that has a valid license to DRM files. • I have downloaded a file and now it shows up twice on my list; why? 1-View lists every file stored on all of your devices. If you copy a file to another device, 1-View will list the files existing on each device. • Can I change a device icon? No, device icons are assigned when registering a new device. • Can I use my SD card with 1-View? - You can download and save files to your SD card. - Currently 1-View only allows uploads of files found in the My Documents directory. • I do not store my files in My Documents directory; can I change 1-View’s default directories? No. i-mate 1-View reads files and folders only within the My Documents folder. • I have a directory on My Documents folder but I do not see it on my 1-View List; why? If a directory does not contain files then 1-view does not show it. • What does “None” mean as a folder selection when I am saving a file? This refers to the My documents root directory. Vault • What is the Vault? The Vault is the physical space allotted to each 1-View user account on our i-mate 1-View servers. • Does the Vault have a storage limit? Yes the Vault is limited to 15MB of storage per user account - regardless of how many devices you have in your own personal 1-View network. • Why is the file saved in the Vault when I perform a file transfer? As a courtesy to users, 1-View places the file on the Vault so that you can access it again in the future even if your device is turned off. • Can you buy more storage space on the Vault? Yes there will soon be a way to purchase additional storage on the Vault. Account Registration • Does my www.clubimate.com account registration work for 1-View? No. You still have to register independently of club i-mate™. You can use the same username and password as on club i-mate, as long as it has not been taken by another user. • Can you change your device’s friendly name? No. The friendly name is assigned to each device when you first added it. • How do I cancel my account? To delete your account you must contact customer support and speak with a customer care representative. Please note that the use of 1-View is free after purchase. You will not incur post-purchase service charges. • How can I change my password? To change your password you must contact customer support and speak with a customer care representative. • What if I forget my password? To have your password reset you must contact customer support at and speak with a customer care representative. • Do I need to create an account for each device I own? No, you can use the same account on all of your devices/computers. Connection • What connections does 1-View support? 1-View supports device connections through - GPRS - Wi-Fi (802.11b) - ActiveSync® - Dial-up - 3G NOTE: Due to the size of media files, i-mate recommends using a high speed internet connection such as Wi-Fi or 3G. • I am having difficulty logging into my account. What can I do? Please make sure that your device has Internet connectivity. Go to Internet Explorer and access an external web page. Self Update • How do I get the latest version? 1-View supports self updates and will notify you when there is a new version available. At that time, you can choose whether or not to accept the newer version. Other • How do I report an issue that I am having with 1-View? Please e-mail or chat live with customer support from the www.clubimate.com. • Can I partner with 1-view? Yes, we are working on ways to get businesses involved with 1-View. UI FAQ • What does the lock icon mean? The lock icon to the left of a file denotes a file that is located on the Vault. • Can I stream music from 1-View? In later versions 1-View will fully support Microsoft Media Center. • Can I delete a device from the device bar? No, you can however hide the files that are stored within a particular device. • My files are marked out in gray the 1-View list; why? Marked out gray files mean that the source device is not available. Please make sure that you have restarted your 1-View desktop client after rebooting Windows.
